App Layout

When considering the Visual appearance of your app, there are two major areas of consideration: the App Layout and what we refer to as Design Styling. Each of these will be handled in turn. Keep in mind that these two aspects are inter-related and have significant cross-over.

In this part of the Style Guide, we’ll focus on the App Layout. The App Layout refers to all of our standards/guidelines for how you organize different elements of the user interface that are common to all of the BOAST apps. This ensures that all of the apps look like they belong together.

There are two main components to app Layout: the User Interface Structure and Common Elements. Each of these will be their own chapter.
